Weekly Update - 8th April
Good morning friends
Attached are the words for Sunday and the notices for this week, which include a list of all the services and events for next week in the run up to Easter.
I have also attached the daily prayers for next week. They are in two different forms. The A4 format can simply be printed off. It is 8 sides of A4 – though if you are clever you can print it double sided. The “booklet” version is slightly more complicated as it needs to be printed double sided in landscape format and then folded together to form a booklet. If you would like me to send you a booklet I am more than happy to do that.
This Sunday is Palm Sunday and following our usual service we will be having our monthly litter pick around the community centre. Those of us at the service normally bring a pack lunch and we get going about 12.45. Do join us for some or all of the afternoon if you can.
As I said, the Holy Week services etc are listed in the notices, but things to note are
· The Maundy Thursday Communion service in the Community Centre
· The Community Day on Easter Saturday from 2 till 4 in the Centre with a café, crafts and an Easer egg hunt
· Easter Sunday morning Communion Service in Stocket Grange at 10am; online and in the Centre at 11am; and a soup and roll lunch in the Centre at 12 noon.
